This Refund Policy (the “Policy”) delineates the comprehensive conditions, stipulations, and procedures under which refunds may be granted. By enrolling and partaking in any courses, programs, certifications, bootcamps, etc offered by Hydra-Scola, you hereby acknowledge and agree to the terms and conditions outlined herein.

1. Refund Eligibility

1.1 Full Refund Eligibility:
A full refund of the enrollment fee, devoid of any deductions, shall be offered in circumstances where Hydra-Scola has demonstrably failed to fulfill its obligations concerning student enrollment post-payment. Specifically, this applies under conditions where the student was not enrolled into the designated learning platforms within a reasonable timeframe exceeding ninety-six (96) hours subsequent to the commencement of the learning period. It must be substantiated that such failure occurred solely due to negligence or willful omission on the part of Hydra-Scola.

1.2 Partial Refund for Partial Payment:
A partial refund of the enrollment fee, minus a flat deduction of ₦5,000 ($5), shall be issued in scenarios where the student has made a partial payment but remains unenrolled into the specified learning platforms and subsequently requests a refund for any reason at all.

1.3 Partial Refund for Full Payment:
A partial refund of the enrollment fee, minus a flat deduction of ₦5,000 ($5), shall be issued if the student has made full payment but was not enrolled into the learning platforms and requests a refund for any reason at all.

1.4 No Refund Eligibility:
Refund claims shall be unequivocally denied in instances where the student has been duly enrolled into the learning platforms, regardless of whether the student has accessed or utilized any portion of the course content or not.

2. Refund Request Process

2.1 Contact Us:
In order to initiate a refund request, the student shall be required to formally communicate with Hydra-Scola’s customer support team by sending an email to Support@HydraScola.com. The subject line should clearly state “Refund Request”

2.2 Provide Details:
The refund request must come with comprehensive details, including the reason for the refund request and any supporting documents or evidence that authenticate the claim. This evidence may encompass, but is not limited to, copies of payment receipts, a detailed account of the issue encountered, and any correspondences relevant to the claim or enrollment.

2.3 Evaluation:
Each refund request shall undergo evaluation on a case-by-case basis. Hydra-Scola reserves the right to refuse a refund if the request does not incontrovertibly satisfy the eligibility criteria articulated in Section 1. The outcome of the evaluation shall be communicated to the student in a timely manner.

Refunds shall be processed and disbursed within ten (10) working days from the date of acknowledgment of the student’s refund request, provided all requisite information has been provided.

3. Payment Disputes

3.1 Dispute Procedure:
Students are strongly advised to forgo initiating payment disputes with their financial institutions/providers without first engaging with Hydra-Scola’s customer support. Failure to adhere to this directive may result in the student being permanently barred from future enrollments and the forfeiture of access to any current or future course materials. Hydra-Scola reserves the right to pursue any legal remedies available to it in instances where fraudulent or unwarranted payment disputes are instituted.

4. Modifications to this Refund Policy

4.1 Policy Amendments:
Hydra-Scola reserves the right to amend, modify, or update this Refund Policy at its sole discretion. Any such changes shall become effective immediately upon their publication. Continuing to use Hydra-Scola’s services following such modifications constitutes acceptance of the revised Policy.

5. Alternate Dispute Resolution

5.1 Mediation Requirement:
As a fundamental precondition to initiating any formal legal or judicial proceedings, students must first attempt to resolve any and all refund-related disputes through an alternative dispute resolution (ADR) process put in place by Hydra-Scola. This process shall be conducted with the assistance of a neutral mediator appointed under the extant Laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. The aim is to achieve an amicable resolution without the need for involvement of law enforcement agencies or court intervention.

5.2 Mediation Process:
The student must formally notify Hydra-Scola of their intent to engage in ADR by sending a written request. The mediation sessions shall be carried out within a reasonable timeframe and a convenient location/medium for all parties. All parties must cooperate in good faith to reach a mutually satisfactory settlement. The specifics of the mediation process, including the selection of the mediator and the venue, shall be mutually agreed upon by both parties.

5.3 Good Faith Requirement:
All parties are obligated to participate in the mediation process in good faith. Failure to do so may result in the forfeiture of certain rights or remedies and could potentially impact the outcome of any subsequent legal proceedings.

5.4 Cost Allocation:
The costs and fees associated with the mediation process shall be shared equally between the student and Hydra-Scola, unless otherwise agreed upon during the mediation.

5.5 Post-Mediation Procedure:
Should the mediation process fail to resolve the dispute, either party retains the right to pursue other legal remedies, including but not limited to formal judicial proceedings. It is strongly recommended that all students seek independent legal advice prior to escalating the matter beyond mediation.

By proceeding with enrollment in any course, program, certification, bootcamp, etc offered by Hydra-Scola, you signify your unconditional consent to abide by all stipulations contained within this Refund Policy.
